We bought the NDS Lite for Littleman for his 5th birthday this year. Beli kat Toys r Us Times Square, NYC yg Eriq sabotage kitorang that day. Before coming to the US last year, we bought a PSP Slim, which utk littleman main during the loonggg flight. Few weeks before littleman's birthday, boleh la pulak screen PSP tu crack.
The NDS Lite game console comes in Polar White, Onyx (black), Coral Pink, Crimson (red and black), or Cobalt (blue and black) in color. Ours is Cobalt. A fully charge NDS Lite will be able to last for between 5 to 7 hours of battery lifetime. Tapi siapa la pulak yg mengadap benda ni sampai 5-6 jam tak berenti.
NDS Lite ni, ada 2 screens. The bottom screen is a touchscreen. Depending on the games, sometimes we have to use the touchscreen instead of the controller. Sometimes you have to use both. The touchscreen is cool especially while playing games because you feel the interactiveness more compared to using the normal control pad. Even though it came together with a stylus (and few spares) the touchscreen is sensitive enough for your finger. Littleman most of the time uses his finger, instead of the stylus.
The NDS Lite comes with 2 cartridge slots for NDS games and Gameboy Advance (GBA) games cartridges. No internal memory comes together with the NDS Lite. NDS Lite also allows multiplayer games using WiFi (IEEE 802.11) enabled game cartridges. The dsiplay and sound produced by the NDS Lite is fairly good. 2D/3D graphic accelerator allow some 3D games to run on the console.
Even though the graphics and games tak berapa best compared to PSP, NDS Lite is considerably good enough. Boleh la layan all the games. Balik Malaysia next year, mmg nak kena repair screen PSP tu, kat sini mahal sangat la nak repair...
Ok, we started our Sunday dgn pergi beraya ke outlet. Kali nie pergi with frens, ikut Anis... Actually mr ayah la dah plan awal2 dgn Anis. We dragged along another M'sian lady. She came to US to present her paper at Columbia Uni, NY. Alang2 she visited her alma mater, Hartford uni, and sekali la jumpa her kengkawan lama in New/West Haven. Org USJ12 tu, dkt je dgn opis mrs mama. Borak2, kuar la citer anjung merah... rindu la lauk-pauk kat anjung merahhh!!!
Later in the evening pi open house rumah liza/kush. Menu, laksa penang and nasi minyak! Sedap gilosss laksa diaorg. Org yg masak pun mmg chef, hehehe... Nie 2nd time makan laksa sejak duk kat US nie. 1st time dulu pun kat rumah diaorg gak... ader makan2 few days after raya haji 2007. Time tu feel makan laksa tak terasa sgt coz baru je sampai dr m'sia. Of coz la dok teringat laksa kuah ikan kembong kat m'sia 
Btw, since it's October now, means it's the month of Halloween. So, most of the houses here are decorated with Halloween theme. Mcm2 ader... rumah yg byk hantu pun ader. Littleman associates Halloween with hantu. So, dier takut kalau sebut halloween kat dier ;) Our house pun tak ketinggalan juga dlm bab2 menghias nie. Of coz la bukan kami yg buat, atuk landlord la buat semua tu... Nanti la dah dkt2 Oct 31st leh pi ronda2 amik gambar :D
Kami kat sini raya sehari awal dari Malaysia, on Sept 30. Sehari sebelum raya kami dpt sms dari kawan2 kat sini katanya New Haven Islamic Center declare raya on Sept 30. Dpt sms tu pun dah agak lewat ptg around pukul 4.00. Nasib baik la kami dah beli segala keperluan groceries yg patut utk prepare juadah pagi raya. So, dari ptg tu, mula la mrs mama sibuk di dapur masak rendang ayam buat pertama kalinya.
Solat raya tahun ni buat kat Coxe Cage, Yale Uni. It's an indoor stadium yg cukup besar utk tampung jemaah yg ramai pd pagi tu. Even though earlier solat raya patut mula around 7.45 pagi, tapi imam tunggu gak la sampai the stadium tu agak penuh baru mula. Dlm pukul 8.15 pagi baru sembahyang.
Our 1st day raya here not bad juga. The guys yg pegi sekali sembahyang raya dgn mr ayah, singgah rumah kami later for breakfast. Laku juga rendang ayam dgn sambal kacang mrs mama. From our house, kami pegi open house rumah kak liza/abg amir. Dah ramai dah kat rumah diorang masa kami sampai.
After lbh kurang 2 weeks lepas raya pun, bahang kemeriahan still ada lagi. Ada aje jemputan open house dari orang2 kat sini. So far kami sempat pegi 3 rumah je la. Yg lain tu tak sempat nak pegi sebab buat on weekdays. Mr ayah dah la kelas belah malam, so tak de chance la nak pegi open house yg buat masa weekdays tu.
In relation to our entry, 
Sepanjang bulan Ramadhan tahun ni, terbaca dlm blog kawan2 pasal kemeriahan PARAM & berbuka puasa di luar. Mcm yg pernah kami cakap la sebelum ni, PARAM ni kami tak la beria sangat pegi, especially yg kat Putrajaya nun.
Dalam pada semua orang sibuk tu, ada jugak 2 kali sempat diorang organize "Bazar Ramadhan" kat backyard rumah abg nuar & kak shima. Konsep dia simple je, sape nak meniaga, bawak la juadah yg nak dijual, pastu buka puasa ramai2. 1st time buat, tak ramai sgt yg menjual. Maybe sebab buat hari Rabu, orang semua sibuk keja. Tapi kuih2 yg dijual boleh tahan gak la. Popiah goreng, kuih ketayap, kerepek ubi pedas, kek gula hangus dan mcm2 lagi la.
Kami takde la menjual apa2 masa bazar Ramadhan tu. Mrs mama goreng mi, utk makan ramai2 je. Tak sempat pun nak masak utk menjual, maklum la weekend tu kan sibuk shopping & teman orang tu shopping.

Sorry Eriq, kalau boleh mmg nak biar u shop until the outlets close ;) but since kiter nak buka puasa kan... kena la gerak gak balik ke NYC. We gerak balik ke NYC at about 5pm. Sampai NYC at 6pm, amik subway from Grand Central to Times Square.
Lepas dah kenyang terpaksa gak la singgah ke Toys r us coz Eriq purposely pi tunjuk kat littleman toys r us depan bubba tu. Punyer la mr ayah and mrs mama dok cover2 taknak bg littleman nampak kedai mainan tu! Sambil dok makan2 tu baper kali dier mintak! Tu yg kena pi gak...
