Littleman is asking for these DVDs...

He asked for this since last year and I thought he forgot about it.

This one is just to complete his CD/DVD collection.

And the latest one, Misty Island Rescue, which newly announced last February. Expected to launch in Fall 2010. "HIT Entertainment, one of the world's leading independent children's entertainment producers and rights owners, has today announced the newest Thomas & Friends™ CG animated feature-length movie, Misty Island Rescue, set for release on DVD from Lionsgate in September in the US, in October in the UK, and across other international territories including Australia, Germany, Benelux and Spain by the end of 2010.

Misty Island Rescue introduces new destinations and four new characters. The Sodor Search and Rescue Center is the new home for Harold the Helicopter, Rocky the Crane, and Captain, a new lifeboat on the Island of Sodor.  Misty Island Rescue is also slated to screen at over 160 theatres across the US through Screenvision in July 2010. 4 new characters?? Littleman will surely wants to get all 4 of them. Earlier he asked for a wooden railroad set (mahal set kayu tu!), but when mrs mama said he has to get an 'A' in his exam, he replied, "Nevermind, i don't want the wooden railroad!" bertuah punya budak, sanggup tu... Anyway, last night when we were doing Math homework, he suddenly said he wants to get an 'A' (still nak jugak la tu...)

Anyhow, those 3 DVDs have been 'saved for later' in Amazon.Com ;)

Thomas freak

We bought these 2 DVDs, Hero of the Rails and Railway Friends from amazon.com. Both dvds are in Malaysia, arrived few weeks ago, but yet to pick them up. It will be a surprise for littleman. He had been anticipated for the Hero of the Rails dvd since July. The dvd was released on September 5th, 2009 in US. (Railway Friends tu beli sbb nak cukupkan dpt free shipping.)

However, last weekend he started to watch new dvd teaser on the youtube.

Mrs. Mama: Aper tu? Tak pernah dengar pun!
Littleman: Ader la... I saw it last night (entah masa bilernyer dier tgk last night tak tau la, pdhal baru that day dier tgk youtube)

I just typed "splish splash splosh thomas" and hit the search button. Berderet video on SSS keluar. Wahhh!! mana pulak budak nie dpt? Dah tak tgk Hero of the Rails ke? Nie mesti new series from Thomas and Friends.

Semalam teringat la nak google psl SSS tu. Betul la... it's a new series, will be released on January 5th, 2010. Wahh! advanced betul anak bujang nie. Yg di-order pun belum pi amik, dah anticipate for new dvd pulak. Nasib baik next year baru nak keluar.

By the way, last sunday littleman got new hair cut. Jenuh gak nak paksa dia potong rambut. At last dier setuju juga setelah dijanjikan untuk membeli cd/dvd for him. Mrs mama plan to go to Ampang Point since there is no toy shop over there. But mr ayah suggested going to GE mall instead. And mr ayah was very much aware littleman will "pow" us more than cd/dvds since there is a Choo CHoo Train outlet in GE mall.

As expected, in less than 5 minutes inside Choo choo train, littleman already grabbed 2 sets of trains, Hiro and Patchwork Hiro (Hiro is the new character in Hero of the Rails). Nasib baik dier tak nampak the whole set of the series, set tu letak tinggi kat atas.. hehehe... oh! and dier tak jadi beli cd/dvd coz he was expecting to get the splish splash splosh dvd, which we guess won't be available in Malaysia.

The day we went out...

We went out to the mall. Reason, coz mrs mama dah boring sgt duk kat rumah. Off we went to the Westfield Connecticut Post Mall by bus. Plan asal nak sewa kereta for the weekend, tapi skrg nie takde weekend rate... terus tak jadi. Walau bagaimanapun, pergi tetap pergi... naik bas pun, naik bas la... hehehe...

Favorite Characters

Harith, like other boys of his age memang ada minat towards certain cartoon/tv characters. Masa umur dia around 1 to 2 years old minat benar dengan Barney the Purple Dinosaur. Barney is really a good show for children development. It has a very interesting approach to educate children with alphabets, numbers and good manners. Harith learned a lot from Barney.

Dah besar sikit, Harith was introduced to Thomas and Friends. Harith becomes Thomas the Blue Engine #1 fan ever since. He owns almost every single VCD/DVD of Thomas' series. Mainan toksah cerita la. Boleh kata most of the main characters dia ada. Ada satu kedai Choo Choo Train at Great Eastern Mall, Ampang used to be our weekend escapade almost every weekend. Masuk kedai tu confirm dapat habuan. Activity books and baju Thomas pun dia ada. Even during his 3rd Birthday party, we had Thomas as the theme. Birthday cake, decorations and goodies pack for the kids are all Thomas and Friends. Sampaikan kawan-kawan yang dah memang tau minat Harith towards Thomas hadiahkan dia Thomas toys. Macam-macam ada la. Even kat States ni pun dia still minat lagi, walaupun dah slowdown.


Lepas Thomas, dia minat characters from Disney Cars pulak. Lightning McQueen and the gang. Susah juga nak cari toys ni sebab dah off-season. However, later on nasib baik la Toys r' Us tetiba keluarkan balik mainan Cars ni. Sempat la beli a few. One of Harith's cousin ada character Mack the Truck tapi beli masa Cars tengah heat la. Mana la nak carik, dah merata pi jenguk. One day kebetulan ada kat Bangsar Shopping Center, merayau la tengok kat one of the toy shop dalam tu. Kebetulan pulak ada jual Mack. Apa lagi beli terusss. Bila dah datang States ni, takde la nak bawak semua mainan dia. Tapi bila kat sini, perasan the selection was wide and the price is cheaper. Start la collect semula Cars characters ni.


Now dah nak masuk 5 years old ni dah pandai minat benda lain. Sekarang ni dia dah start suka Hotwheels cars and Ben 10. Nasib baik la benda-benda ni tak mahal kat States. Hotwheels boleh beli 99 cents je. Ben 10 characters pun affordable. Ben 10 ni kat Malaysia boleh tahan mahal gak la. Jam Ben 10 ni, which known as the Omnitrix costed around RM110, and kat sini jual around $15 je. Punya la jauh beza. Anyhow, nasib baik gak la sorang je hero buat masa ni. Tak la parah sangat...
