Week of treats!

It finally here! Yeay! Alhamdulillah, syukur atas keberkatan dan kurniaan Allah swt, genap 11 tahun perkahwinan kami. Semoga ikatan ini kekal dan bahagia hingga akhir hayat.

Europe 2011: St. Moritz, Switzerland

Lugano (CH) - Tirano (IT) - St. Moritz (CH)

We arrived in Lugano at 8:10am. Quite train station, not so many people. It was still early, and our next ride, Bernina Express bus would only depart at 10am. We had our light breakfast,  croissants and hot chocolate at the train station.

Lugano town seems calm and quite, not so much of activities. It was friday, wondered where were those people?

After a while, few people started gathering at the parking lot. All of us were to board the Bernina Express. As expected, the bus arrived on time. It was a panoramic bus, with the large windows for easy viewing :)

Our ride to Tirano

The road in Lugano town were so small (the bus route). Only one way vehicles can pass at one time. Hence the frequent honks used. The houses were too near to the road. If the bus window can be opened, I could just touch the building wall along the road ;)

The scenery throughout the bus ride was breathtaking! Awesome views! We passed by Lake Lugano, Switzerland and Lake Como, Italy.

The 3 hours bus ride ended at a small town called Tirano. Tirano is located at the border between Italy and Switzerland. From Tirano, we boarded the Bernina Express train. It has panoramic coaches, and popular with tourists. The train connecting Tirano and St. Moritz, our final destination on that day.

The Bernina train ride was the highlight of our Europe trip. The journey crossed the Swiss Alps from south to north. For us, it was once in a life time experience :)

After about 2 hours journey, we arrived in St. Moritz. We checked in at Bellaval hotel, which was situated just next to the train station. It was summer, daylight was longer than night but the shops were closed early. We didn't get the chance to shop (selamat duit!), just literally window shopping! We roamed around the small town. Our famous malaysian shoemaker, Dato' Jimmy Choo was going to open an outlet in St. Moritz.

We spent one night in this beautiful resort town.

The next morning, we continued our journey, another city awaited to welcome us. ZURICH!!!

I am nor Don Juan nor Casanova, but yet even both finally vow their love to ONE woman. If ever a friend asked me, "How do you know if she is the one?" I always asked them to listen to this song. The Love Story

"You've got mail, the three most powerfull words"

Bila terbaca tag kawan2 pasal meaningful movies ni, tetiba teringat lak kat this one particular movie. It's a romantic comedy genre. You've Got Mail, movie gabungan Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan after Sleepless in Seattle. Kena pulak timing dgn dekat2 nak Valentine's Day ni.

It was in 1999, when this movie was shown in the cinemas during Valentine's. Even though it's V-day, tapi we were not celebrating it, becoz at that time we were just "teman tapi mesra" *wink wink. We went to KLCC for this movie. We went straight from Shah Alam with the legendary Tredia to KLCC.  

It was really a nice romantic comedy movie with both Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan being cute. The storyline mmg cukup menarik, sesuai dgn zaman2 IT. Emails, chatrooms.. It really interesting when people you met almost everyday tu sebenarnya your virtual lover/close friend online. 

On the same day gak, Raplh Lauren launch their new perfume - Romance in KLCC. Teringin sgt nak beli, tapi time tu baru lepas shopping mende lain. So hasrat dipendamkan sajalah until year 2001 when we got the opportunity to buy the perfume in Galeries Lafayette in Paris. Sampai hari ni, perfume ni still jadi our favorite and mmg we always have the stock in hand.

And Feb 14 marks the anniversary of together-gather blog...

Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah

On this date, 7 years ago it was one of our days to be remembered. Today, 7 years ago mr ayah and mrs mama got engaged :)

We share today's date and every year to come with these two beloved atuk and nenek of littleman (mr ayah's parents) for they are celebrating their 35th Anniversary. On the same date, nenek also celebrating her birthday. Moga kasih kekal berpanjangan hingga akhir hayat...

Not to forget, littleman's opah (mrs mama's mom) who also turns one year older on this date. Nenek and opah, Selamat Hari Jadi... semoga panjang umur, murah rezeki dan hidup diberkati Allah swt.

Happy 6th Anniversarry

Today marks our 6th years together-gather as husband and wife. It has been SIX wonderful years living together-gather. Teringat pulak when we decided to come out with a blog of ours. Jenuh la nak pikir nama apa nak bagi utk blog ni. In the end after a few potential names we finally decided to name it "Together-gather". Since its going to be our blog, our stories.

Anyway, lets continue where we left before. We got engaged on July 14th 2001, about 4 months after we were back from Guinea. The merisik was done while we were still in Guinea. Balik2 make sure dpt kerja dulu, then baru proceed with the next step in our relationship.

Our nikah day was on May 25th 2002 and the kenduri was held the day after. The other reception was held on June 1st 2002. On May 29th 2002, Mr hubby sat for PTD exam. Rezeki orang baru kahwin, he passed the exam. Mr hubby joined gomen service in January 2003.

September 2002 Mrs wifey got pregnant. 9 months later, Harith Arsyad was born on May 31st 2003. Tak lama dah nie besday dier... :D tau what he wishes for his birthday? A birthday in Disney and a Cars birthday cake. Selain tu, mintak birthday party at school. Amboi la, dah pandai demand... :) We'll see aper yg termampu ayah and mama tunaikan ;) At least birthday party at school dah ditunaikan.

Last year, we celebrated our 5th anniversary in Bali. Since it was our 5th anniversary, we got ourselves new wedding bands. Pergi Bali pun ber2 je, kira honeymoon la... Harith tak la dilupakan terus, we went to Bali again in November 2007 and that time bawak Harith lak. Bali is a very nice place. Semua ader, nak beach, mountain, kpg scenery, or even shopping, name it... semua ader! Mrs wifey seronok shopping je kat sana. Millionaire shopping, mmg la syok! Tapi kat US lagi la Mrs wifey kelabu mata. Nampak semua benda murah2 je. Kalau kat KLCC, keluar from Marks & Spencer 2-3 bags, kat US leh penuh satu bonet with the same amount of money spent. Opss!!! off topic plak...

Anyway, where are we gonna celebrate our anniversary this year? Let's blog about it in next entry once we are back from wherever we will be. *wink
